About the Journal

JIJITY: Jambi Journal of Islamic and Transdisciplinary is a scientific journal published by the Jambi Literacy Dynamics Foundation, based in Jambi Province, Indonesia. This journal is published periodically twice a year in June and December. JIJITY accepts all authors from all over the world. JIJITY accepts papers from various author affiliations ranging from higher education institutions, educational institutions, social institutions, and other institutions that need to publish scientific articles. This journal will be reviewed by a team of professional and competent reviewers in their respective fields. The main objective of this journal is to understand Islamic teachings more comprehensively and contextually in facing the complexity of modern challenges. The transdisciplinary approach allows integration between Islamic sciences with various other disciplines such as sociology, anthropology, psychology, economics, law, and even environmental science or technology. With a transdisciplinary approach, Islamic studies are not trapped in a normative-theological approach alone, but develop into a study that is solution-oriented, critical, and applicable. It should be noted that this journal strongly rejects plagiarism. Authors who wish to publish articles in this journal must ensure that their manuscripts are original and have never been published in other journals.

To expand and develop research results and publications and make them accessible to the public, the JIJITY: Jambi Journal of Islamic and Transdisciplinary collaborates with the Institut Islam Muaro Jambi (INISMA Jambi). This collaboration aims to develop the JIJITY journal and improve the quality of INISMA Jambi publications so that they can publish research results with national accreditation standards.
