The Journal of Islamic and Interdisciplinary Research (JIIR) invites scholars, researchers, and practitioners to join our academic community as Editors and Reviewers. JIIR is a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing critical, contextual, and interdisciplinary studies on Islam and its engagement with contemporary social, cultural, legal, political, and environmental issues.

EDITOR

Responsibilities:

  • Managing manuscript submissions and editorial workflow
  • Coordinating peer review processes
  • Ensuring academic quality, originality, and ethical standards
  • Contributing to journal development and strategic direction

Qualifications:

  • Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) or equivalent in relevant fields
  • Active research and publication record
  • Experience in academic publishing or journal management (preferred)
  • Strong commitment to academic integrity and interdisciplinary scholarship

REVIEWER

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting rigorous, objective, and timely peer reviews
  • Providing constructive feedback to authors
  • Upholding ethical standards in the review process

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Master’s degree (S2) in relevant disciplines (Ph.D. preferred)
  • Expertise aligned with the journal’s scope
  • Experience in research and academic writing
  • Willingness to review manuscripts within specified timelines
